Letters to Editor are a widely read and used vehicle to get the voice of the people out to the readers of the newspaper. It is a highly effective tool. Just note that you should try more than one newspaper in hopes of getting it published. Also, letters to the editor should be short and concise rarely exceeding 200 words.
