The NAACP Training Department's primary goal is to provide effective and efficient training, and information sharing opportunities for NAACP units and constituents.
The NAACP Leadership Training Academy is the primary vehicle through which the Training Department’s goals are achieved. The Academy provides a quality source of leadership training and development. It offers two certification tracks, the Executive Leadership Track and the Certified Public Policy Advocate Track.


Executive Leadership Training Workbook
This is a comprehensive resource for NAACP Executive Committee Members and Unit officers that will assist in properly and effectively executing leadership duties.
Certified Policy Workbooks (101 and 201)
These resources are used for the Certified Public Policy Advocate Track. They cover Civic Engagement, Criminal Justice, Economic Empowerment, Education, and Health.
Public Policy Resource CD
This CD highlights six of the NAACP’s main content areas: Civic Engagement, Criminal Justice, Economic Empowerment, Education, Health, and International Affairs. It includes downloadable PDF forms, reports and briefing notes.
NAACP State Conference Training CD
The NAACP State Conference Training CD provides instruction on critical components of NAACP departments at the national level in areas essential to advancing the Association’s mission. It includes topics like: Branch Administration: Is Your Branch Healthy?, Legal Redress in a Nutshell, Event Planning Basics, and Advocating Your Concerns to your Elected Officials.
