The Oscars and Diversity

Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron today announced the complete slate of stars who will present Oscars at the ceremony, this Sunday, March 2.

Oscar producers, Zadan and Meron made this comment about this year's show:

We are very excited that the Hollywood community will be turning out in force for Sunday’s Oscar ceremony.  We sought to include a tremendous diversity of stars to represent not only this year’s nominees, but the legacy of the motion picture business as well.

This year's presenters include past Oscar winners and nominees as well as past NAACP Image Awards winners and nominees.  They include:

Viola Davis, Jamie Foxx, Whoopi Goldberg, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael B. Jordan, Tyler Perry, Sidney Poitier, Gabourey Sidibe, Will Smith and Kerry Washington.

The NAACP celebrates this year's Oscar nominees, who are also NAACP Image Awards winners.  They include:
