On July 14th and 16th, Barack Obama and John McCain will address the 99th Annual NAACP Convention at the Presidential Forum.  This is the opportunity for the candidates to directly address the issues that are critical to our community.

We want the candidates to hear what you think those issues are, in your own words. Ten questions will be chosen by NAACP staff to be sent to the campaigns prior to the Presidential Forum. Those questions will also be on our website and our YouTube channel.

You can submit a video question following the directions below, or you can submit a written question by clicking here.

By submitting a video, participants agree to be bound by these official rules.

YouTube Video Submission Instructions

  1. Create a short video, no longer than one minute, of a question you would like to ask the presidential candidates, or an issue topic you would like them to address.
  2. Go to YouTube.com and upload your video.
  3. Email the web address of your video to youtubecontest@naacpnet.org to let us know where we can find it.
  4. Videos must be submitted by Midnight on Wednesday July 10 for consideration.
