President and First Lady of Haiti to Attend 104th NAACP National Convention

His Excellency Michel Martelly, 56th President of Haiti, along with his wife, Sophia Martelly, are set to attend the NAACP’s National Convention in Orlando, Florida. President Martelly is scheduled to give remarks at the Opening Public Mass Meeting, Sunday, July 14th and the First Lady will give remarks at the NAACP Health Luncheon, Monday, July 15th.  The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People members, board, staff and leadership, look forward to welcoming the Haitian President and First Lady with open arms in Orlando.

Additional convention speakers include: NAACP Chairman of the Board, Roslyn M. Brock; NAACP President & CEO, Benjamin Todd Jealous; Attorney General, US Department of Justice, Eric Holder; NAACP Chairman Emeritus, Julian Bond; NAACP Chairman Emeritus, Myrlie Evers Williams.  The 104th Convention will include performances from singer, Bridget Kelly; and singing group, En Vogue.
