WHO:  The Honorable Steny Hoyer (Democratic Whip, D-MD 5th District); The Honorable Luis V. Gutierrez, (D-IL 4th District); The Honorable Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX 18th District); The Honorable Robert “Bobby” Scott (D-VA 3rd District); Hilary O. Shelton, NAACP Sr. Vice President for Policy and Advocacy/Washington Bureau Director; Rev. William Barber, Chair NAACP Political Action/Legislative Committee/President NAACP North Carolina State Conference 

WHAT: The NAACP will hold a special legislative workshop designed to educate attendees on the NAACP’s legislative priorities and discuss key civil rights issues including immigration reform, education, voting rights, criminal justice reform, education, the federal budget and more.  The distinguished panel will provide insight on the bills and issues before the U.S. House of Representatives.
