The NAACP Hollywood Bureau and Shomex Productions are partnering to present the 2008 Entertainment & Media Career Expo that will help launch the 39th NAACP Image Awards celebrations.
The Entertainment and Media Career Expo, on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at the Los Angeles Convention Center is a forum for candidates to meet face-to-face with entertainment industry executives and land their dream job while providing a unique opportunity for companies to actively engage Los Angeles' many diverse communities and interview experienced, creative and business professionals, qualified and ready to work in all aspects of the the entertainment and media industries.
This unique recruiting event features major employers in film, television, cable, radio, music, publishing and the Internet, who will provide insight and access to ‘behind the scenes’ industry careers in accounting, engineering, finance, human resources, Information Technology, legal, management, marketing, sales and more.
