The National Board of Directors, leadership, staff and members of the NAACP at all levels offer their sincere, heartfelt condolences and support to the families and individuals directly affected by yesterday's shootings on the campus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
The NAACP enjoys multiple connections to the campus through its members and supporters and joins the nation in mourning the senseless loss of life at Virginia Tech.
The thoughts and prayers of the NAACP are also offered to the nation during this troubling time.
