NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous and Maryland NAACP State Conference President Gerald Stansbury are scheduled to meet with Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley tomorrow to discuss the death penalty. The NAACP has advocated for abolishing the death penalty in Maryland and other states.
The meeting with the governor is scheduled for 9:30 am to 10:00 am, tomorrow, December 13. President Jealous will be available immediately afterward to take questions from the media in the press row area in the basement of the Maryland State House.
