Chauncee Gibbs, a Memphis, Tennessee native, is a senior at the University of Memphis where he is a double major and double minor in Political Science/History and Spanish/International Studies. His passion is in youth advocacy and civil rights, being a member of the NAACP since 2001. Gibbs is an active participant in many organizations on campus including NAACP, Delta Epsilon Chi, Amnesty International, Student Ambassador Board, Pi Sigma Alpha, and Empowered Men of Color to list a few. He also serves in community organizations outside of the campus such as United Way of the Mid-South. A recent Golden Key scholar, Gibbs plans to pursue his J.D. in Law with a concentration on Environmental Law upon graduation.
