NAACP President Derrick Johnson, Jackson Mayor Lumumba, Congressman Bennie Thompson to Honor Mississippi Civil Rights Icons in Separate Event 

NAACP President and CEO, Derrick Johnson, will unite with local leaders, Chokwe A. Lumumba, Mayor of Jackson, Congressman Bennie Thompson and civil rights leaders to hold a press conference to pay homage to those who have dedicated their lives to the civil rights of Mississippians, without the presence of President Donald Trump.
