Engage, Empower, Mobilize

The More Than A Month mobilizer program is built to raise an engaged and empowered cohort of youth leaders. The program not only amplifies these youth voices by giving them a platform to advocate for the importance of education, but it also develops their leadership abilities and sense of civic responsibility.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for changemakers who are committed to advocating for fair access to high-quality education, addressing false information, inadequate financing, and societal biases. A mobilizer inspires their peers and has an impact on policy discussions as a result of sharing their personal experiences, which benefits both their communities and society as a whole. This approach cultivates a long-lasting belief in the transformational power of education, giving young individuals the power to direct their own educational paths.

Application Requirements:

  • Consider applying if you reside in Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, or Utah - states where Black history in education is under attack on a daily basis.

  • Must be an active NAACP Youth & College member

  • Must have a track record of NAACP engagement
  • Must demonstrate a passion for education
  • Must be proficient in using technology and social media platforms
