Rise Up: The Next Generation of Advocacy is designed to build our army of young activists to rise up as we continue to recruit, retain, re-engage, revive, and reward. Build your membership squad to help us recruit the next generation of leaders to join the fight.

It's time to assemble your membership squad! Each role within the membership squad will be key in shaping what membership looks like in your unit. Stay updated on upcoming training opportunities, giveaways, and more while urging more advocates to join the fight with the NAACP.

Campaign Roles

Learn more about the roles and responsibilities for Rise Up Membership Champion campaign roles.

- Lead class raps and tabling coordination
- Walk members through the process of renewing/new membership through naacp.org
- Must be the most knowledgeable of NAACP and Membership campaign
- Promote and recruit community to attend NAACP/membership events
- Responsible for providing swag/gifts/membership literature to new members
- Lead chants during tabling/programs
- Knowledgeable of NAACP membership and structure
- Promote and recruit community to attend NAACP/membership events
- Responsible for communicating plans goal and activities to the executive committee for approval
- Ensure unit successful implementation of the membership campaign and programs
- Ensure all member stakeholders have no more than one role
- SUBMIT when hosting a Membership drives, events, programs, etc.
- Promote and recruit community to attend NAACP/membership events
- Responsible for filling out the pre-membership drive form
- Responsible for keeping record of new/renewal membership
- Measure the effectiveness of each membership program
- Submitting the post-membership drive report and gain access to Salesforce
- Promote and recruit community to attend NAACP/membership events
- Take & post as many photos and videos as possible
- Direct followers to link of action
- Create fliers/videos for the promotion of membership
- Promote and recruit community to attend NAACP/membership events

Recruitment Order Kit

The recruitment kit is aimed to aid your unit's recruiting efforts. In order to receive this kit, your unit must identify and submit your "Rise Up Champion" roles by September 15 and complete the order form.
