117th NAACP National Convention

SEE YOU IN 2028!

For more than a century, the NAACP National Convention has served as a place where we gather, celebrate, organize, learn, and chart the path forward for civil rights in America. It is one of the most powerful traditions of our Association and remains central to who we are.

Our members, branch leaders, youth advisors, state conferences, partners, and stakeholders have spoken - and NAACP is transitioning to a biennial National Convention continuing to serve as our premier gathering for advocacy, thought leadership, professional development, culture, and civic engagement. 

Next Up: Legislative Session

In 2027, the Legislative Session will bring together members, branch leaders, youth delegates, policy experts, and advocates from across the country to focus on the business of the Association and the policy priorities that define our movement. The Legislative Session will also incorporate ACT-SO and youth engagement opportunities that help cultivate the next generation of leaders. 

The Legislative Session will provide dedicated time for policy discussions, resolutions, advocacy training, and organizational governance, while our biennial Convention will continue to be the large-scale national gathering that celebrates our collective strength and showcases the full breadth of NAACP work.

The NAACP National Convention is an empowering and immersive experience held each year to celebrate our community's collective power. The Convention attracts innovative change-makers, thought-leaders, entrepreneurs, scholars, entertainers, influencers, and creatives to network and exchange ideas.
