Our future is on the line. With so much at stake this election season, we need your voice and your time. Join us in turning out voters all across the country — sign up to volunteer and make a difference in your community.
Join the Movement, your Way.
Whether you have a few minutes (each day) or several hours, our program lets you contribute as much time as you're able to help turn out Black voters — because our volunteers come first. Along with accommodating your schedule, we provide:
- Key talking points to inspire and engage voters
- Community-based engagement through, social gatherings, town halls
- Voter outreach materials
- Support from your local NAACP Branch
- Call center to refer voters to (or to call for questions)
Please note: All volunteer and volunteer support roles have been assigned. If you have not received a text message indicating you are a volunteer for this program, please join one of our bi-weekly activations to make calls to voters.

Get Involved
Our battleground states and districts are where we can make a difference in monumental elections. Even if you don't reside in a battleground state, your contributions as a volunteer will have an impact by calling or texting voters in these designated states and districts.
As a Volunteer, You will:
Receive Your List
As a volunteer, you will receive your own personal community of voters for outreach.
Contact Black Voters
Whether you choose to go door to door or call voters, this is your time to shine by providing your contact list with important election information and encouragement.
Encourage Them to Vote
Whether you're encouraging voters to vote in person, absentee, or to verify their voter registration status, you will be amplifying the importance of voting - one voter at a time.
Volunteer Teams
As a volunteer, you'll become part of a team of passionate community members, each with their own list of voter outreach list. Your team will connect in person at an NAACP Branch office or virtually - whatever works best for your team!
Volunteer Actions
- Phone Call - Next, use your own number or the NAACP RelationLink Tool to call your voter list and help them make a plan to vote.
- Door Knock - Then take it home by knocking on doors and encouraging your voters face to face!
- Text Message - Use your own number or the NAACP RelationLink Tool to text your voter list and help them make a plan to vote.

As a volunteer for the NAACP Volunteer Program, I affirm that:
- I understand that the Program is non-partisan, and I will not make any statements supporting or opposing any candidate for public office or any political party.
- I understand that any information I receive through my activities as a volunteer with the Program is confidential, and I will not share this information with anyone, nor will I use it for any other purpose.
- I understand and accept that courtesy and respect should be demonstrated in all contacts as a volunteer and on behalf of the Program.
- I will not harm anyone in any way, whether through harassment, physical force, verbal abuse, or any other harmful action.
- I will comply with all legal requirements known to me while serving as a volunteer with the Program.
