Saving Democracy One Voter at a Time

You and the voters you reach are key to making Black voices heard at the ballot box. Social Security, Medicaid, and SNAP matter a lot to voters right now. Federal immigration crackdowns are another way protections for communities of color are being threatened. The fight for civil rights isn't over, and we're focused on protecting our people. Getting voters to the polls is more important than ever.

Join the Movement, your Way.

Whether you have a few minutes (each day) or several hours, our program lets you contribute as much time as you're able to help turn out Black voters — because our volunteers come first. Along with accommodating your schedule, we provide:

  • Key talking points to inspire and engage voters
  • Community-based engagement through Days of Action, social gatherings, town halls
  • Voter outreach materials
  • Support from your local NAACP Branch
  • Call center to refer voters to (or to call for questions)

Meeting the Moment

We are meeting the moment and pushing back against growing federal overreach. The social safety net is being dismantled before our eyes, and the stakes couldn't be higher. States like Virginia are where every vote counts — and where we can make the biggest impact. Off-year elections may not grab national headlines, but they determine who controls local and state power. Now is the time to show up, speak out, and shape the future.

As American As

The "Big Beautiful Budget" bill passed by Congress is anything but. Under it, social safety programs like healthcare, Medicaid, SNAP, and more are at risk of being cut. The safety of our people and our children are not partisan issues. They are as American as our democracy, the Constitution, and yes — even apple pie.

Now that Congress has spoken, it's time for voters to have a say. Elections are an opportunity to hold accountable the elected officials who created and supported this harmful bill.

The fundamental right to vote is under attack, threatening democracy as we know it. Across the country, efforts to restrict access to voting — especially for racial minorities — are increasing, and we're fighting back in the courts, in the halls of congress, and on the streets.

From now through election season, we need your help to turn out as many voters as possible. Join us to power the vote and connect with voters in your community.
